Outlook/Emails

How do you set up outlook so you are informed of incoming emails.

Informed how? Via an icon popping up in the system tray normally at the bottom right of the screen? Or something else? If you mean the former then in Outlook 2003 it's:

Tools > Options... > E-mail Options... > Advanced E-mail Options... > When new items arrive in my Inbox settings (e.g. Show an envelope icon in the notification area).

Just so i box will come up on the screen to say you have a new email.
