Hi just filling out application form for Contributributory pension and English equivalent. I am required to enclose my marriage certificate
but I can't find it anywhere. I got a copy through a company online and it looks exactly like the original, but I am now wondering if this will be acceptable.
Should I go ahead and try it?

Do you mean that you got it here?
If so, then that should suffice as it's an official duplicate copy.
If not, then I'm not sure that it would be an official cert.

Yes, it does have the General Register Office stamp so I think it is probably ok.
Thanks for your help.

But you said that you got it from a .co.uk site and not from a .gov.uk site, in particular gro.gov.uk. I don't know if any .co.uk sites are entitled to issue official marriage certificates.

There are 3rd party agents that will order a legitimate certificate for you and send it on and add their own charge on top of the official government office CV charge, it sounds like one of those
