Will be taking house over from builder in next two weeks and now need to organise tiling, sanitaryware, kitchen, doors, stairs......any particular order I should follow to make life a little easier. Have people lined up and just want to make sure that i dont get it back to front. Thanks

Stairs frist the plumber may need to fit sanitaryware and then remove for the tiler depends on pipework 1st fix. a good tip is to tile the kitchen floor before the kitchen is fitted far better job fit kitchen tile splashbacks hang doors lay floors fit architrave and skirtings. in that kind of order.
hope this helps

We're just at that stage ourselves. Fitting my stairs at the very end because I'm leaving the boards exposed so don't want it damaged. Tiler is in at the moment tiling under kitchen units and sanitary ware (the shower trays are fitted though). Painter is booked for next week and will start on walls & ceilings and carpenter will then come in to fit skirting and architrave which the painter will also finish. Not sure if this is the "Correct" order but it's the way we're doing it! Good luck!

Many thanks for that. Think I'll leave the stairs too to near the end as I dont want to get them damaged.
