Optical / Dental Benefit - Limits on claiming

Had an eye test the other day and prior to booking the appointment I was asked for my PPS No.
After the test, I was told that the PRSI contributions have covered it.

What is the limit that this will cover?

Is it for example only one eye test per year?
Does it give me a discount on specs?

Same question for dental.

They both must have limits to what they pay out, but I seem unable to find the info.

Any ideas?

Limits for optical is one eye exam every two years, and about €30 towards your glasses.
Dental is one annual exam and two cleans a year, plus a contribution towards basic treatments.
