Opening Velux Windows

Hi,

We've just moved into a new (second hand) house which contains a sun room with two velux windows in the roof.

These can defenitely be opened but we cannot seem to locate a pole to do so.

Would anyone have suggestions as to where I could get something tro open up velux windows?

www.velux.ie should sort you out. We have one of their rods and it works fine.

You could try your local builders merchant, the Velux proprietary pole can be purchased as an extra but is expensive for what it is. Or you could buy a broom handle for about €2.50 and screw a cup hook into the end of it, will work, but not as kind to the handle of the window as the proprietary one from Velux.
