Hi I am new to posting on this site but have got loads of great info from reading other posts tks guys... I would be greatful of help with any info you have on opening an account in northern Ireland I had a quick talk with 1 of the staff in BOI northern Ireland in this conversation she advised me on a few fixed term deposit accounts I could use to invest £20,000.. I think I have decided on the 2 year fixed term at returns of 7.12% gross / 3.50% AER is this a good place to put my money...
She mentioned a form I might want to full in its a application for a not ordinarily resident saver to receive interest without tax taken out she said not everone that is from rep of Ireland fills in this form... I am wondering should I full in this form or pay the 20% tax on interest that BOI northern Ireland take out at the end of the fixed term... Any info would be much appreciated as I am clueless on what to do thanks!!..
