For your info - this week's Irish Medical News highlighted a website which offers authentic-looking doctors' sick notes, available from

PS, just checked it and the Irish section has been removed since earlier this evening and they now state "novelty use only". It was operating earlier today with Irish addresses and examples. You can choose Ireland in the ordering section. Apparently they found out that the site is hosted in Scotland but it may appear using another server as, according to the article, it was doing great business.
 
Apparently the Guards in Limerick are looking into it too (but I don't know whether that just meant they were trying to get some!!)
