I Recently booked flights to Chicago for my family and me (2 adults and 3 kids) online with BA. I was keeping an eye on the flights for a week or so and they were consistently €296 e/w (which with taxes and charges turned out to be €2700) but I couldn't book until I got the go ahead. When I did try to book I was again quoted the same price as before until I went to submit my CC details upon which i was told that the price had changed and i had to return to the start. When i looked for another quote the price had gone up to €314 each way (total €2850) which I had to accept as our dates weren't up for debate at that stage. I know, relatively speaking €150 wasn't much but I'd rather it in my pocket than theirs. The really galling part was that when i checked the price again that evening the price had gone back to €301 e/w.
I'm sorry the story is slightly long and complicated but basically my question is, have I any cause for, or avenue of complaint?
