We are a couple and got VHI One plus started policy at the rate of 90 euros per month for two of us. The policy is going to expire in July and I am wobdeirng of we should just renew it again? Are there any better deals available?

We don't have any medical conditions and in early 30's. May require maternity cover once 52 weeks waiting period has lapsed.

There may be more price changes before your renewal in July 2019.

Regarding maternity cover, this is only really required if you are choosing to go the full private route which costs 3000 to 5000 for consultant
visits. Or if you choose to go the semi-private route which costs approx 1000 for consultant visits in addition to gp visits.
Health insurance would cover the private or semi-private room which is not guaranteed on the day of delivery.
Many people now are choosing to go the full public route which is free of charge.
