One Parent Family Payment

I am recently separated and would like to know what I am entitled to?. I currently work full time but am thinking of doing a 3 days week to mind my son. This would be about €300, would I qualify for One Parent Family Payment also do they take into account mortgage repayments when calculating the payment.
