They are in the wrong but I was told i can make a claim against PRSI for the injury as I was on my way to work. I will be claiming against the other motorist. If I am doing this is it wrong to claim against prsi??

The only way you can claim "against" PRSI is if you claim a PRSI linked welfare benefit payment such as listed here if applicable for example.
