I'm surprised given the number of "football" fans on the forum that nobody brought this up. The man with the most valuable biscuit tin in sport passed away this weekend after a fight with cancer. just 12hours before he died Shels were being upbraided for not keeping correct accounts, which seemed poetic in a way.
I had dealings with the man and can't say too much good other than that he put a lot of trust in the wrong people, and never seemed to believe he was worth a whole lot. He devoted his life to Shels in a very unhealthy way that was all or bust. He did give the EL a few of it's best nights and I hope that whereever he is now he's enjoying a game.
