Oil stoves

I have an Efel Harmony Thermal oil stove, 25 years old now, burns 24/7 gently through the winter, the cats love it. It does hot water via a pumped system, two heat leak radiators and the immersion tank, pipes go through the heating chamber but it doesn't have a back boiler. Am thinking of upgrading the heating system using a separate boiler as the rest of the house is quite cold. Makers (Belgian) have gone out of business. Would like to keep the stove as a space heater as it is a focal point in the house. Would anyone know if I can run the stove with the pipes capped off and empty of water please? Very few people seem to really understand these stoves.
