D dommo1000 Guest 11 Apr 2010 #1 I have significant capital losses and I am looking for a passive investment vehicle to off set these losses. I believe ETF's are unsuitable as they treated under USTIS rules. I was thinking of UK investment trusts since they re treated more like a share than a fund. 1. Are Uk investment trusts suitable for offsetting capital losses? (all/ some trusts?) 2. Any ideas on an alternative investment strategy?
