Odd/Random Jobs

Need to take care of some small jobs around my rented apartment in the next while. Could use some advice as to best approach, was thinking of finding a local handyman to come in and take a look at the lot getting done in one go?

  • Few tiles broken beneat bath to be replaced
  • Blind to be put back up after the 'holder' for one side broke off
  • Small window does not close fully
  • Two ceiling light sockets to be replaced

Would appreciate any opinions on recommendations as to best way to proceed! My own fault for letting these build up for so long but hoping i can get them all sorted with a minimum of hassle and outlay.

If these repairs / replacements are as a result of normal wear and tear, then they are the Landlords problem, let him know these jobs need to be done.

My landlady is uh...not the most active. To be fair to her though if I get the work done she'll refund it off the next round of rent.
