Some advice please it would be appreciated I will try and make it short.
Welfare problem, I am in receipt of disablement pension for a number of years assessed for life at 20% I am now going through a period of reoccurance and will need treatment as an outpatient for the orriginal injuries, My employer is willing to agree to retirement on grounds of ill health I will recive a pension from from work on date of retirement. I know I have to reapply for Invalidity benafit to department of social welfare My question is will med assetment doctor agree to this and allow me the benifit as I received it before for over a year as unemployability benefit. It would be my intention to stay out of work sick for a long period to see all this through as I know you have to be out of work to get the benefits My fear is if I were to leave work can this benifit be taken off me at some stage in the future by the med officer in social welfare that is if he allows me to recieve it This is an occupational injury
