NTL Digital : Digital Channels set to TV Channel

Hi, Does anyone know how to get NTL Digital to start straight away when you turn on your TV. Currently I have to turn on the TV and then press the AV button twice to get them. I would like to have the digital channels on an easliy accessible channel like 1, that way I can have the digital channels as soon as I start the TV.

I know its a strange request but my Mam is elderly and she has trouble going through all the steps to get to the digital.

This is a feature of your TV rather than an issue with NTL. What works for me is to turn the TV on first, it tunes to an analogue channel, then I turn on the NTL box. The signal from the box via the scart always switches the TV to the digital channel. The same happens if I switch the DVD player on after the TV.

Not a very technical explanation but it might make it easier for your Mam
