NTL cable modem for other VOIP

My NTL modem has 2 analogue phone connections on it for use with NTL phone system.

So potentially I can use an ordinary phone or fax with the NTL system and pay for it.

Anyone know if the Cable modem can be configured to work with another VOIP provider?

I use Blueface VOIP with NTL cable internet.
 
Do you use the phone connection on the ntl box for connecting a phone to blueface?
 
No - the C450IP phone has a LAN cable input.

You might need an ATA to connect a 'normal' phone for Blueface use.
