Hello,
If I work for a company and just say I turn up for work (today) and my manager says to me that I must take Friday off (because were not busy) and if were not busy tomorrow (Thurs) I’ll have to sent you home as well. All this time off is at my own expense basically they are docking money from my wages because they’re not busy.
I have a contract of employment signed with them and it says nothing in it about being docked hours if we are not busy.
Where do I stand legally, I would of thought that if they wanted to place employee’s on short time that they would have to give them amble notice.
Any advice welcome
