Not living with partner and sw problem

hello guys i have a query,
Im not living with the father of my child, he does intend to move in shortly. He had to visit the health centre today and the woman now wants him to give in a payslip, proof of address and mortgage statement belonging to me.its none of her business what i earn. She has stopped his emergency payments until as she says sorted this out. What rights do i have i dont want to give he my details...

sounds like you should be assessed jointly. you're means-tested on each other's incomes. plenty of people buck the system but it's their job to make sure no one gets any more than they're entitled to!

It sounds as if your partner has advised the CWO that he's moving in with you. When he does, you are treated as a couple so his entitlements are means tested on your income and details of your income are necessary. If you don't supply them, your partner cannot be assessed and will receive no payments. If you don't want to give them to your partner, you may be able to send them directly to the CWO who can return them directly to you.
