Hi

I have a question regarding further study in Ireland I am hoping that you guys can help me out.

I am a NON EU and I am working in Ireland for last 8 years and I have stamp 4 on my passport and my wife ( also NON EU) is working in Ireland and she also has stamp 4.

My wife would like to do a part time masters degree from UCD while working.

So I was wondering if she will have to pay NON EU fees or can we pay EU fees as we are living here in Ireland for so many years?

Please let me know in what conditions can we pay same fees as EU citizens.

Thanks a million

Re: Education in Ireland

I know someone who applied for a couse on a stamp 4 and in the country 4 years and he did not qualify. The college you are applying to shoudl let you know the criteria.

As far as I remember if your principal residence has been in an EU country for 3 out of the 5 years before you start the programme (and you haven't been a student during that time) then you qualify for EU fees. Give the college a call though and they'll be able to tell you.
