No p45 or Bank Statement

I am going into claim tomorrow and need a bank statement and p45 I still havent recieved either so will a mini statement from atm and proof of address sort that out and will a letter from employer do for the p45 until I recieve the p45, I dont have a current bank statement(have it ordered) but have a bank letter with my address on it as well as well as a previous current account statement one a few months back.. And I reckon the letter will do until I get the p45.

Ya had a interview last week for the benefit and told me to come back tomorrow any they asked to have them but they still havent arrived so I think that is the only way get around it I suppose until I recieve the statement and p45?

The P45 is to prove that you are unemployed and the date you became so. Explain that you are witing on it (Very common for peopel not to get it until later). Iyt wopn't hold up your claim.

The bank statement is to show capital for a means assessment. This is important as you can't get paid until your means have been established. The letter is not enough as it doesn;t give your current balance or history. The old dstaement may be enough if it's not too old. Bring this and tell them you'll in the up-to-date oen when you get it.
