no hot water in shower

I have a shower over my bath (not electric, was installed during house build 5 years ago).

This morning the shower would only produce cold water, despite immersion being on. Taps of bath were producing hot and cold. Anyone any ideas?
 
Could be a few things.

When you turn shower to it's hottest setting does it stay cold or heat at all? and does pressure drop?

Try removing head, place thumb over pipe, turn temperture up to highest. this will force cold water into hot line and dislodge air lock if there is one.

is the shower pumped?

Anybody messing with valves in hotpress?

Have you checked in hot press to ensure a valve is not turned off?
 
NO CHANGE SINCE LAST SUCCESSFUL USE

have called plumber...
 
Do you have hot water coming through the cold taps on your basin in the bathrooms, or have you checked this?
What Brand of shower is it?
