Hi I was wondering if anyone had come across www.hasslefreebuild.com and if so is it any good. if you are a paid member have you received any good work leads or is it a rip off if anyone can shed some light on this that would be great.

I take it that no one has heard of this company and if they are of any use any info on it would be great as I was thinking of joining it in the near future.

You need to be aware of posting (no bumping up threads by replying to your own posts) and no 5 - no advertising. Failure to comply with these can result in banning.

What is the benifits with the mastercraftsmen and how do you join. is it cost effective I have never join anything in the passed and this no hassle said that they would send a minimum of tem jobs a year for me to price that is why I was thinking of joining if you can give me some info That would be great thanks again.
 
Just recently joined and they invited me to apply. They did say I was recommended by another member but I bet they picked my name out of the golden pages ;). you can also just apply, google their website. You get listed on their website and on a few more that I will post later cos I don't know off hand.

I had to have 5 references and it cost about €300 to join plus €195 a year registration. I was a bit wary of it because I spend a lot of time being plaged by advertisers and the like. I spoke to a few architects and QS's that I work with and they told me it was a good one to be in as they publish a trade book and send it out to all the major players in construction.

The thing that drew me to it was the fact I could prove to clients that I was insured and have a high quality of work. Time will tell if I get work from it.

I will have a look on the net now and see if it is a good move for me as I think as things stand at the moment any edge is a good thing people dont want to spend hard earned money and get a cowboy builder but as i am saying this I have seen it happen so many times in the last while I get under cut all the time now by cowboys do a bad job and then I get a call to fix it or finish as they got a bit of money from customer and done one with it you would think if people know you have a goog rep and someone under cuts your price by a long way that there may be something a miss. how and ever we strive on to do a good job and keep the wolf from the door
 
Yeah, it is impossible to compete with some people. I do a lot of commercial work that is highly organised and cowboys don't get a look in. I.E need insurance, H & S statements, contracts, first aider on sites etc. Although saying that I do a lot of domestic work as well and thankfully we are kept pretty busy...........for the moment anyhow.
There will be interesting times ahead and I hope I can keep my crew together for as long as possible.

Secondly we have no reference for "davy jones" and sell NO product priced at those rates.We also do NOT publish a trade book.I think this gentleman has Hassle FreeBuild confused with somebody else.

You might find that you are confusing davyjones as becoming a member of hassle free build when infact he was referring to joining the national guild of mastercraftsmen ???
