No card icon on latest version of PTSB app

The card icon has disappeared from the latest version of the PTSB app.
So it is not possible to freeze and unfreeze a debit card from the app.

I wonder is this an error or a new security feature.

If someone robs your phone and card they could not unfreeze your card ?
 
I still see the "Cards" icon at the bottom of the main screen and can manage/freeze etc. cards there. I can't screenshot it because the app doesn't allow screenshots.

v12.1 of the Android app. No uninstalled updates according to Google Play Store.
 
As above, Checked on both Android and IOS, with all updates
both V12.1, the cards tab is still in the middle at the bottom on both
 
I have v12.2.1 on an iPhone and the card icon is there . It isn’t important if the icon is there. What’s important is if the functionality is there . Is the option anywhere else
 
v12.1 the latest version that my Google Play Store lists and the one that I have installed.

There's no v12.2 in the version history here:

Interesting.

My android tablet and android phone are both listing V12.2 in play store.

There was a message on the app a few days ago warning that the app would no longer operate from late July if the latest app was not installed. So I updated and am now stuck with V12.2

I deleted the app and reinstalled, but still V12.2 and no card icon.

The PTSB app has been troublesome for a long time.
It regularly stops working and crashes.

I had no broadband last month and was operating through a mobile phone hotspot. Everything worked perfectly except for PTSB.

App would not open and their website also didn't open.

The whole thing about iPhone/Android app versions and the possibly mistaken removal of the Cards option (in v12.2?) is very confusing. As I said I have v12.1 on Android and there is no outstanding update available in the store. And if there was a v12.2 version for iPhone/iOS then it seems to have been purged based on what I posted above. If PTSB made a mistake then it would be a lot clearer, transparent and helpful to users to just come clean... Otherwise one might wonder if there's something more nefarious going on....
 
There was an iPad update V12.2.1 last night. I updated to this but the card icon is still missinng.

This is the new feature of the update

"If you’re struggling with gambling and need support, you can now block gambling transactions on your Debit or Credit Card – directly in your PTSB app."

This new feature is not possible without the card icon.

So PTSB have messed up their app update.

Like Clubman, in my Android phone shows the latest version is 12.1, last updated 23 Jun 2025
The card freeze/unfreeze facility is available.

But the Apple store is different... 12.2.1
