I am due to graduate as a Certified Public Accountant at the beginning of December. Currently work in industry, would consider moving to practice. Any idea the going rates for newly qualified CPA's in both industry and practice, or any suggestions on career moves?

Hi Juliel and congratulations.

It is very dependant on the part of the country you are working in. Whereabouts are you based?

Have you seen the brightwater recruitment salary survey? try google it. I don't know how reliable these surveys are but it is informative nonetheless

A lot will depend on experience and backround - a move from industry to practice with no practice eperience i would say €35,000 would be doing well. I wouldn't know about industry but supposedly better paid.
