Hoping to get some advice on buying an apartment in Manhattan especially from anyone who has already done it.
I have made initial enquiries with mortgage companies and have the go ahead for the funds. I have a relative who will live in the property and pay the rent to cover the mortgage. However, I don't know about the hidden costs...taxes, estate agency fees, monthly apartment fees or service charges etc. etc. etc.
Anyone able to help fill in the gaps or tell me what to expect?
