It's a Golf+ ( the marginally larger Golf) with a boot. Reasonably well built. The new Skoda Octavia (same chassis and running gear as the Golf) is the same car with better value for money. The resale value of the golf/jetta will be greater but you are front loading by purchasing the more expensive varient.
