My tenant has suggested someone to take over the remainder of her one-year lease (and beyond hopefully). On paper he sounds good - don't they all?
Anyway, I am thinking that, when the one-year lease terminates in August, to not offer him a new contract (worthless, in my experience), but instead to continue on a month-by-month basis.
I would, however, enter the new tenant's details on the PRTB website when the lease expires in August.
Has anyone else opted for this possibility? Am I missing anything?
