New iphone 3Gs

Hi,

any idea how you can check to see if your iphone IS the new 3Gs model?

Looks exactly like the old version.. Battery life not great this time around either.. Just wondering if I received an old model with new software?

I believe the new model does not have 3Gs written on it.. Strange..

Presuming that you bought it from a genuine retailer o2, carphone warehouse etc there shouldn't be an issue.

The main difference seems to be the video camera so does yours have a video camera or not.

Hi, Yes it does.. Thought it may have been installed on old model..

You would imagine it would state ON the phone that it is the 3Gs

If you have the compass on it and can record video then its the iPhone 3Gs, if it doesn't its an iPhone 3G
