Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but new to these wood burning stoves.

Just moved into a house that has one, but got no instruction on it.

How does it heat the radiators? Is there a pump stashed away somewhere that I need to make sure is on?

If the stove has an integrated boiler it will heat radiators and or hot water depending on the boiler output. The circulating pump should be located near the chimney breast or in the hot press area. This pump should be switched by a pipe thermostat which again should be located in the hot press area.

Thanks

I have since found what looks like a pump in the hot press, but it appeared to be swtiched off. When I switch it on, nothing happens so I assume the stove must be up and running before it will pump.

Also, just after my OP, I did a bit of searching and it appears that some of these stoves will heat your back boiler 1st, and then once that is done, will then, by the laws of physics, start to heat your radiators as long as it has the power and heat to do so. I wonder if this is the case in mine?

Must get a big fire blasting later and try it out.

Dou you know if the stove has a back boiled for sure? It could be a room heater only.
