Might interest some on here with rental property in Germany:

Quite a few new changes, mostly to the advantage of the landlord I have to say. New "express" dealing with over holding tenants and tenants can no longer reduce the rent during improvement works connected with energy efficiency (for up to 3 months).

Landlords can now also terminate with immediate effect tenancies for failure by the tenant to pay his deposit installments in full (German deposits are usually 3 months rent but are often paid in installments for the first 3 months of a tenancy).

I can't find it in English so this google translate will have to do for now.

Three months in Switzerland too and all mainly unfurnished leggings in Europe.
Should be 3 months here, paid into 3rd party account. Thats what I hoped the PRTB would do!
