New Cooker Insurance - a benefit you may not be aware of

When I purchased my new cooker in 2018 I took out an insurance policy for 5 years.

The sales person at the time did say it included the valet but I forgot about it until this year, I rang the number I was given and within 2 weeks I had my cooker cleaned. I asked the man how much it would have cost and he told me €60.00. I just had to sign a form to prove he had cleaned the cooker. The cost of the insurance was €119.99. I missed one year - my own error but have a reminder set on my phone to ring next year as it is one job I hate. On talking to the man while he was cleaning the cooker he told me a lot of people that have the insurance do not realize they can get this done free of charge. My neighbour recently purchased a cooker from the same shop and when I told her about the insurance she was still within the time frame to purchase it as she wanted to avail of the yearly valet.
