Hi,

Just moved into my first home and I need to take up the laminate flooring in the kitchen because of a leak. The floor is badly buckled and I want to put down tiles instead.

It looks like the flooring goes right under the kichen units. Any idea what I could do? Will I have to remove the kitchen units and appliances in order to do this?

Thanks

Are the floor units resting on plastic legs or are the chipboard sides of the unit resting on the laminate

You shouldntt have to, depending on the original install, typically there is a kickboard between the floor and the bottom on the units, once you get the kickboard off all will become clear, the units are in legs and the floor should be easily removed.
