After years of putting up with a leaking chimney we have now decided that it might just be best to remove the chimney stack.
We have tried many things to remedy the problem and no one that we have had out to look at the chimney can say for sure what is causing it. We did install a chimney cap and that seemed to relieve the situation for a while but back the damp came just as bad as before, I should add this is a chimney that we don't even use, so its really annoying.
I am looking for someone to remove the stack from roof level to include replacing roof tiles and make it look as nice as possible.
I am living on the Clare/Limerick border.
