Need a battenholder for wall light - bulb to be parallel to wall

Hi
I am trying to source battenholders which would be wall mounted and parallel to the wall, so far all I can find are either straight or angled. They are to sit behind some plaster light fittings we bought in Portugal and which I really want to use! If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful. Something light a sacred heart bulb holder but to hold a standard bulb.

I know exactly what you mean - they are common on the continent - I've searched for them in Ireland & UK without success. If you find a source I'd like to hear about it!
 
Have you tried B & Q ? Failing that Atlantic Homecare do some quite different light accessories. And the if no joy try Ebay or some other online sellers.

Thanks, yes have tried B&Q, Atlantic, Flaherty's market (who used to stock them!) and Currans Electrical in Galway. Also tried web searches though not E bay yet. My next step! Hoping an electrician or DIY expert who uses AAM might have a source or a get around.
