Hello AAM,

Could anyone recommend a supplier of Natural Stone in the West of Ireland???? Currently building in North Galway and want to get the porch and Sun Room externals done in Natural stone prior to the plasterer coming on site.

If anyone could recommend a stone mason too that would be great

I got limestone from him on a recommendation. Very good quality. Well cut and sized and very little wastage. Cost €1100 + VAT for a full truck load delivered to Ennis.
I could have gotten a local quarry for €800 but I would have thrown away at least a third of it and would have needed almost two loads for the same coverage.

What color stone are you looking at? We put Lacken stone on our house. Have a look at my blog in my signature and see the pictures of the stone work. I can give you the number of the mason and Lacken stone are on the web.
 
no prob - my house in Craughwell, so if you want to see the stone, finished, not a prob.
 
We got lovely liscannor stone for our patio from a guy named Pat Nagle, quarry was very near cliffs of moher on opposite side of road, he arranged delivery to Kilkenny for us no problem.
