whats the (correct) cost auctioneers charge for putting your property on myhome.ie and daft.ie?

Do you mean how much do they or should they charge you? ( Open to negotiation)
Or how much does it cost them to do so? ( Fixed)

They are two separate issues.

i think it is 30 quid for 3mths or 6mths on daft.ie to do it yourself. my friend was trying to get ppl to rent her house she put it up at 11am and had ppl in the house by 12. she had lots of phonecalls.

when we were selling we paid 300 euro (including VAT) for all advertising costs, this included myhome and daft. This included putting it on their own site and the board outside the house, but hopefully it will give you an idea. All the estate agents we spoke to quoted the same fee.

I know you have to pay for myhome.ie (I thought the cost was 150) but i was told before that for daft, the EA pays an annual fee and this covers as many houses as you want and is offered free by estate agents...

its funny how no EA's have responded to this!!!!!!

I don't know how they get away with it here - charging for advertising and putting it on websites. How else do they expect to sell a house? The fee should cover all advertising. The vast majority - of UK estate agents charge a percentage fee for selling - (no sale no fee).

We were charged €169.40 for advertising on myhome.ie. That was €140 + 21% VAT.

I think daft charge €90 for 3 months for individual pproperties but they do offer agents an annual fee to cover all properties. My home is €130 per property.

The fee is charged for the sales service, and the negotiating experience of the firm, the ads get interest but don't sell the house. If vendors weren't charged for ads they would want their property advertised continually on all mediums and it wouldn't be sustainable.

Friend of mine has his house on with two agents both have put the property on daft and myhome, even propertynews.com for no extra charge!

Is it possible for a Joe Soap to pay and advertise on myhome.ie if they aren't using an agent like you can with daft, or will they only let agents advertise?

In March I was advised by 2 estate agents that the cost charged to them was €180 + VAT and by a 3rd estate agent that the cost was €280 + VAT.
