My work covers me Company Lvl 2 OPTIONS? FAMILY?

I have opted to cover my spouse and 2 children on Company Plan Plus Level 1 for the last year.

It is working out very expensive this year.

I havent a clue what Im doing and what the above plan covers and what my options are to downgrade and what I am risking by downgrading?

Any help much much appreciated?

Did you speak with VHI and also do a comparison on the HIA website www.hia.ie?

As health insurance is so expensive these days and is a very important part of your household budget you should sit down over the quiet Christmas period and familiarise yourself with the workings of that plan. The renewal documentation is going out in the post this week for a lot of the VHI policies and it is informative and not too lengthy.

As one of the VHI customer service representatives explained to me recently a large number of their policies fall due to renewal in mid-Jan so you can expect their phones to be extremely busy so it would pay you to have a chat asap.

Look at One Plan Sport. It has the same hospital cover as Company plan level 2 but a €200 per person excess applies to outpatient expenses. This plan is about €940 per adult
