Somewhere along the line someone asked me did I want my number in the phone book to which I said no. The result of this is that my number shows up as a blocked number when calling other people. How can I remedy this situation? Is it an eircom or BT issue or is it something I can control myself?

Dial 142 before you dial the number in question and it will reveal your number. 141 to block it if you are in the book and want to hide it one off.
