Here's a good site to see your IP is blacklisted:

the 188.*.*.* addresses are allocated via ripe and used by a lot of different companies, carriers, and countries - so blocking that range will have some side effects.

    Hi Brendan,

I once ran a large forum with 100k+ members and had the same problems.

It was on the VBulletin platform but you might find a similar plugin. It was called "login redirect" and this seems to be similar.

Although its not designed for Auto Spam Bots i found that it eliminated 100% of it for me as the bot gets presented with a screen and has no idea what to do with it.

It was really designed to for example show a certain usergroup a certain message when they login.

If you just either put up a message saying click here to verify you are human or actually put up some kind of other notice it will eliminate a huge amount of Spam.

    Cloudflare also works great

We have a few anti-spam add ons which stop most of the spam.

It stops some countries or publicly black listed IP addresses from registering.

But a few a day are sent for moderation.

I will check out all those suggestions, to see if the software we use has been improved upon since we installed it.
