Moycullen, Co. Galway

Hi, Does anyone have any thoughts on Moycullen, just outside Galway city?
It looks like a nice small village, yet close to city with shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Transport links with the city seem poor though with the bus service worse than useless.
Does anyone know any future plans for the area that may impact it? Proposed inner ring road?

There is a by-pass planned for Moycullen which will run between the town and the lake and is due to begin in the next year or two. Traffic into the city in the morning can be heavy, but the Galway City by-pass (in planning) will probably alleviate this to some extent. The city ring road will cross the river between Moycullen and the city making access to Moycullen easier
