Moving to UK to work, property and children in Ireland - what are the implications?

I am moving to the UK to work for the next three years. If anything were to happen me, what would the implications be for my two children in terms of CAT. Would they be still under Irish law, i.e. 325,000 threshold each. They live in a property we own for college - not in the family home. There would be 3 x houses which they would inherit. No UK property.

Just a quick note, threshold is €335,000.
