moving mains valve?

Hi - renovating kitchen and where the mains value is there will be a dishwasher with no access - d'oh!

I presume it's easy enough to move the value by just entending it along the wall a bit?

Make sure you fit it at an accessable location, and fit a new isolation valve.

Check that the existing pipework and stopcock do not interfere with the fitting of the DW

Remember the fitting before the new valve will always be live.

Always a good idea to know where your stopcock is on road. Buy a water key, about a tenner and keep it in a designated spot, this will insure water is off before it enters the property.
