Moved into rented house. Two waste bins left. Should I return them to the Council?

Hi,

I recently moved to a rented house. I found on the house two council waste bins (a green and a brown, with no tags or indication to whom belong).
Both the old tenant and the landlord are saying the bins don't belong to them.

Should I sell them or return them to the city council?

Who would buy council bins ??

Ring the council. They will probably pick them up. Nobody would buy them as they are free anyway.

Are they not for putting your household waste into? Have you another plan for it?
