I am renting an unfurnished apartment that has developed mould and in doing so has ruined some of our furniture and clothes. i am developing headaches and a rash due to the mould and have to vacte the apartment as much as possible. i have informed the landlord who says the problem is our doing. however the mould is on the external wall, and i presume its most likely an external problem. is there agencies that can check this the landlord is not giving us much help. I dont know if the PRTB would be of much use, do they handle this kind of thing?
I am mainly wondering would the landlord be liable for our furniture and any health problems that this may lead to as i am sure that if he is. then i can get this sorted much quicker.
