Mortgage statement from Pepper

Hi all,
I just wanted to see if there were many people out there who are still yet to receive their 2014 mortgage statement from Pepper? We are former Irish Nationwide customers and I have rang them to check the status of statement but I keep getting the same response - there were system issues but we will sending them out in the next couple of weeks - it's now mid-May!
We also pay our mortgage on the 25th of every month - have done so since we took it out but since Pepper have taken over administration, we get two letters each month (one for me and one for my husband) saying that we have missed our payment. I have rang them about this on several occasions, each time to be told that the letters are system generated and just to ignore - there is no issue as we pay before the end of the month so no late payments are recorded.

I am just a bit concerned about it as there seems to be a pattern emerging. Is anyone else having the same experiences?

Write to pepper and say they are breaking the law by not providing you with a full update on your mortgage account at least once a year. The law being breached is section 130 (b) of the Consumer Credit Act 1995
 
Yes we had problems with pepper, they took over mortgage book from danske and as we had to close our mtg feeder ac with danske. We set up another with ptsb, the first dd payment went through no problem but the next 6 months were rejected each time due to system problem which was only resolved when I sent a letter advising that I was raising the issue with the banking ombudsman.
Also I have not received a yearly statement only a letter with the balance outstanding as I needed this as I am going to trade up and unfortunately loose my tracker.
 
Guys

Check your ICB records just in case the alleged missed payments have been recorded.

If Pepper's system is so bad, the ICB should not take any information from them.

If you have a bad ICB report due to Peppers inefficiencies you may claim for damages as a result!

Thank you advice and Brendan. I will do both of those. We definitely need to take more constructive action as telephone calls have not been making any headway at all. I'll post back and let you know the outcome.

Danske customers with trackers should be wary of rocking the boat with Pepper...their LTV today is probably a lot different to their LTVS in 2006.
 
I have reviewed a number of tracker mortgages from NIB/Danske bank in the mid 2000's and have not come across this type of clause. If you have a copy of same to hand I would be obliged if could you post it to this thread, or in conversation mode if you wish, with any personal information blocked out. Danske Bank are the most aggressive bank to seek repossession within the State ( 7 times as aggressive as any of the Irish Banks ) I would have thought if they had an out in relation to tracker mortgages they would have jumped at it at this stage ?
 
Danske have said in the past that they won't seek to revalue property with an aim of changing the LTV trackers. I guess that doesn't mean that they can't or indeed won't in the future.
But they have been anxious to exit Ireland - doing this would entail a huge volume of work.

I have to say about Pepper - I had cause to ring them twice recently & found the staff good. They also sent me the info I needed fairly promptly.
 
Might be worth checking the consumer credit act in the UK version Northern Rock sent incorrect statement (rather than no statement at all) and subsequently the courts ruled interest demand invalid ...cost them a few hundred million
