Apologies in advance if I'm repeating an already exisiting thread...if so I could'nt find it.
I was made redundant 13wks ago, since have been claiming jobseekers allowance. I have'nt looked into claiming mortgage relief earlier because I really did'nt anticipate to be out of work for so long. (If its relevant Im single with no dependents), any advice on the following would be greatly appreciated;
What do I need to produce to my local welfare office?
Will it be back dated?
And any ideas how much per month I might expect?? (mortgage is €1310 per month after TRS)
Mortgage Interest Supplement is paid through your local health Centre by the Community Welfare Officer. You will have to apply there adn be subject to a means test. google it on AAM, there's loads of stuff on it already.
