In 2005 I bought our family home with my husband. PTSB requested as a condition of the mortgage was that I put a cross charge on the family home mortgage to a second PTSB mortgage on a rental property in my sole name.
I now want to put my rental property on the market and in parallel we want to apply to PTSB to take a mortgage holiday from our family home mortgage to release aprox 21K we have prepaid on the mortgage account.
I'm looking for advice - should I apply to get the cross charge release from the PTSB rental mortgage first or apply for the payment holiday first on the family home PTSB mortgage ?
Or does it matter ? Any advice appreciated. Thanks !
