Hi
Can anyone advise on who to speak to professionally in the Dublin area about mortgage situation. I bought a house in Donegal in 2007, lived there for a few years, but the had to move back to Dublin last year because of work. I obviously can't do that commute every day, so I haved rented out the Donegal property, and an renting a flat in Dublin.
Obviously the house in donegal is in serious negative equity and although i have rented it out, it doesn't even cover half the mortgage. With the recent and further planned interest rate hikes, i am struggling to keep the show on the road with paying the mortgage and dublin rent.
It is unlikely that i will ever get work again in Donegal, so the house is of no use to me.
I feel like I am looking down a very dark tunnel with this, and can't see a way out.
